Alvo dos protestos de torcedores nesta semana, o equatoriano Caicedo perdeu seu lugar para o jovem Murilo Cerqueira durante o treinamento desta quinta-feira, realizado na Toca da Raposa ll.

Durante o período da tarde, o técnico Mano Menezes comandou um treino tático e optou por tirar o zagueiro Caicedo, que cometeu graves erros na derrota para o Atlético-MG, no último final de semana, para a entrada de Murilo Cerqueira, revelação da base celeste.

Sem Robinho, que está vetado pelo departamento médico do clube por conta de uma lesão, o técnico realizou uma alteração na formação tática do Cruzeiro, utilizando os volantes Ariel Cabral, Henrique e Hudson.

O treino desta quinta-feira teve a seguinte formação:Fábio; Lucas Romero, Léo, Murilo Cerqueira e Diogo Barbosa; Ariel Cabral, Henrique e Hudson; Alisson, Thiago Neves e Rafael Sobis.

O Cruzeiro volta aos gramados no próximo domingo para enfrentar o Palmeiras, às 16h, no Mineirão. A partida é válida pela 12ª rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro.

تضاربت التقارير بين الصحف السعودية والبرازيلية بشأن مصير ماتيوس بيريرا لاعب الهلال.

يقترب نادي بوتافوجو البرازيلي من التعاقد مع لاعب الوسط ماتيوس بيريرا نجم الهلال السعودي في فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الجارية.

الصحفي الإيطالي رودي جاليت، عبر حسابه بموقع التواصل الاجتماعي “تويتر”، أكد أن النادي البرازيلي دخل في مفاوضات مع الهلال للحصول على خدمات ماتيوس بيريرا.

وقال الصحفي إن الهلال طلب الحصول على 23 مليون يورو للموافقة على بيع اللاعب البرازيلي، مؤكدًا أن هناك حالة من التفاؤل لدى النادي البرازيلي في إتمام المفاوضات بنجاح.

وبحسب التقارير الصحفية البرازيلية فإن بيريرا لم تعجبه الأجواء في الدوري السعودي ويريد العودة مرة أخرى للعب في الدوري البرازيلي، وذلك عقب تجربة قصيرة لم تستمر سوى عام واحد فقط مع نادي الهلال.

من جانبها، ذكرت صحيفة “الرياضية” السعودية، أن نادي الهلال لم يتلق أي عرض لانتقال البرازيلي ماتيوس بيريرا، ولم يحدث أن النادي تلقى خطابًا من بوتافوجو البرازيلي، كما تردد في وسائل إعلام رسمية وغير رسمية.

وتابعت: “بيريرا سيكون أول اللاعبين المنتظمين في معسكر الفريق، الذي سيقام في برمنجهام الإنجليزية، بدءًا من 29 يوليو الجاري حتى 13 أغسطس المقبل، واللاعب مستمر مع النادي رغم اهتمام بعض الأندية لضمه”.

يُذكر أن ماتيوس بيريرا انضم لصفوف الهلال في صيف 2021 الماضي قادمًا من وست بروميتش الانجليزي، في صفقة قدرت بقرابة 18 مليون يورو.

ولعب بيريرا بقميص الهلال في 32 مباراة في مختلف المسابقات في الموسم الماضي، وتمكن من إحراز 3 أهداف وصنع 14 تمريرة حاسمة.

Harry Kane could now be open to extending his contract with Tottenham Hotspur, with fresh talks expected with Fabio Paratici and Daniel Levy.

The Lowdown: Kane stays put over summer

Tottenham’s all-time goalscorer Kane was linked with a move away from the club over the summer, with Manchester City seeming the suitors for his signature, but a move never happened and he has returned to action for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.

After scoring 23 goals and assisting a further 14 goals last season, Kane led England to the final of the European Championships before delaying his return to training at Spurs.

However, the striker confirmed his desire to remain at the club and news has now emerged about his future at Spurs.

The Latest: Fresh talks looming

According to EuroSport, Kane could still sign a new contract at Tottenham despite having his desire to leave the club in the summer.

The article also states that Kane, who was tipped to beat every goal record in the book by former manager Jose Mourninho, rejected a fresh deal days after the striker lost to Italy in the final of the national competition, but avenues are now open for fresh terms to be discussed between club chiefs and the striker.

A deal would only be agreed if Levy welcomes the idea of inserting a release clause however, meaning Paratici and the divisive Spurs chairman may have some serious negotiating to do.

The Verdict: Long way to go

With Kane remaining at the club and Heung-Min Son extending his stay at the club, things are truly looking up for Spurs in terms of keeping their star men.

The striker, who was described as ‘unbelievable’ by Jack Grealish recently, has scored 223 goals in 340 appearances for Tottenham, a remarkable record, and he will be hoping Levy will consider his history in mind when concluding a deal.

Whilst the deal may mean a pay rise for Kane, Paratici’s thinking of keeping hold of Kane for this season and maybe the following is vital if they are to return to the top six of the Premier League.

The ICC has reduced the number of reviews available to a team from three unsuccessful reviews per innings to two during the Test series between England and West Indies in February.Earlier, each team was allowed three unsuccessful reviews per innings and the reduction was based on feedback from players and match officials. If the modification works successfully in the Caribbean, it will also be trialled in the Tests between Australia and South Africa later in February. Once the two series are finished, the review system will be appraised, and the merits of using or discarding it will be debated by the ICC’s cricket committee in May.Haroon Lorgat, the ICC chief executive, said the review system had received positive feedback but it had to be trialled further before it was introduced on a permanent basis.”That is why we have made this refinement to it,” Lorgat said. “It has become clear during the trial so far that three unsuccessful reviews per innings are too many as there is potential for frivolous or unnecessary reviews to be made by one side or the other. We are testing different playing conditions so that we can find the best one and give the trial every chance of succeeding. We listen to feedback and we have been hearing that two is a preferred option.”After the review system was used during West Indies’ tour of New Zealand, the two captains, Daniel Vettori and Chris Gayle, expressed concern over its usage. Vettori said it would dilute the on-field umpire’s authority if it was constantly used for marginal calls, and Gayle felt it was the standing umpires’ job to make decisions.The system has caused debate and controversy since it was first tried on the domestic circuit in England in 2007, and it received mixed reactions on its international debut in the Tests between Sri Lanka and India earlier this year. However the ICC decided to extend trials to three other Test series.
