شنت والدة أحد الأطفال هجومًا قويًا على نجم فريق مانشستر يونايتد كريستيانو رونالدو، بعدما تسبب في تحطيم هاتفه المحمول عقب مباراة اليوم ضد إيفرتون في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.

واستضاف ملعب جوديسون بارك مباراة الفريقين في الجولة الثانية والثلاثين، حيث خسر مانشستر يونايتد بهدف دون رد.

وبعد المباراة، شوهد رونالدو في مقطع فيديو وهو يحطم هاتف أحد المشجعين على الأرض، قبل توجهه للنفق المؤدي إلى غرفة الملابس، وفتح النادي تحقيقًا في الواقعة.

وكتبت سيدة، تدعي إنها والدة الطفل الذي تحطم هاتفه على يد رونالدو، عبر حسابها الشخصي بموقع “فيس بوك”: “حسنًا، لقد تحولت لعبة جميلة في المباراة إلى اللجوء للشرطة، لا أصدق أنني أقول هذا ولكن رونالدو حطم هاتف نجلي جاك من يده بينما كان يسجل له وهو يخرج بعد المباراة”.

وأضافت حسبما ذكرت شبكة “givemesport” الإنجليزية: “لقد صدمت من أن لاعب كرة قدم محترف يمكنه الاعتداء على طفل مثل هذا، إذا كان بإمكان أي شخص الحصول على أي مقاطع فيديو من هذا بالنسبة لي، فهي متواجدة على إنستجرام، أنا لست هناك! شارك من فضلك!”.

وواصلت: “لاعبو كرة القدم هؤلاء هم بلطجية! إنه أب في الوقت نفسه، فكيف سيشعر إذا حدث هذا لطفله؟؟!!”.

وأرفقت السيدة صورتين لما يبدو ليد الطفل وعليها جروح، وهاتف محمول محطم.

Opening the innings for the winners, Nauman added 68 with Hashim Iqbal on his way to magnificent 78 off 86 ball, which contained 9 fours and two sixes.Naved Ashraf, batting two down, was even more belligerent in his stroke play, as he hit 5 fours and half a dozen sixes in his 81-ball innings. He was, however, a bit unfortunate to miss a well-deserved century by just one run, despite remaining not out at the end of the innings.Lahore Whites were expected to put up a valiant fight when their batsmen came out to bat, having won their three previous matches on the trot.However, they just caved in under pressure to bundle out for paltry 121 in 32.1 overs, with a top score of 24 by Sohail Idrees.Naeem Akhtar and Najaf Shah bowled superbly for Rawalpindi, getting 3 and 4 wickets each, respectively, for 14 and 35 runs. They were well supported by Naved Ashraf and Iftikhar Mahmood who got one wicket each for 8 and 6.Sheikhupura’s victory over Sargodha, in Pool B, was not as convincing as Rawalpindi’s over Lahore Whites, yet it proved adequate to ensure them a place in the semi-finals.Chasing a modest 202 for victory, Sheikhupura lost wickets at regular intervals. However, it was due to a gritty knock of 102 off only 63 balls by Imran Nazir that helped them earn the eventual honours.After hammering a magnificent 148 in only the previous match, Imran Nazir, discarded for the tour of England, gave an adequate display of his batting prowess. He hit 15 fours and 3 sixes to lead his side almost single-handedly to victory.After the departure of Imran at 161 in the 24th over, Mohammad Haroon (32 off 40 balls, 7 fours) and Zubair Watto (15 off 29 balls, 1 four) added 44 for the unconquered 7th wicket to steer their through.

Charlie Austin08-Mar-2002The Sri Lankan Cricket Board has publicly condemned former West Indian fastbowler Michael Holding for casting doubt upon the legality of MuttiahMuralitharan’s bowling action in April’s edition of Wisden Cricket Asia Monthly and issued a formal complaint to the International Cricket Council (ICC).Holding, a prominent television commentator and an ICC-appointed bowlingadvisor asked to work with Shoaib Akhtar after the speedster was reported for having a suspect action for the second time, claimed to be in “110% agreement” with Indian spinner Bishan Bedi, who had accused Muralitharan of throwing, likening his action to that of a javelin thrower in the previous edition of the magazine.A Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka (BCCSL) media release states: “The BCCSL unreservedly condemns Mr. Michael Holding’s unwarranted, and irresponsible allegations that are clearly intended to cast doubts over Mr.Muttiah Muralitharan’s bowling action.”It goes on to claim that Holding’s comments are “harmful to the game ofcricket as a whole” and are “a deliberate insult to his predecessors on theICC’s Advisory Panel On Illegal Deliveries, who investigated Mr. Muralitharan’s action in 1999, and found that it did not violate the laws of cricket.”The release confirms that, “since Mr. Holding is a bowling advisor to the ICC,” they have taken up the matter directly with ICC. However, it is unclear what the ICC can do – Holding is entitled to express his personal opinion; a quiet word between Chief Executive Malcom Speed and Holding seems the only option.Bedi’s comments, unpalatable as they were for many in Sri Lanka, were largely brushed aside as provocative sensationalism. The Daily Mirror sports editorial suggestedon Friday that opponents were sufficiently scared of Muralitharan to “put him out of the game before he destructs them.”The role played by Wisden Cricket Asia is also not beyond suspicion, with Sri Lanka due to play a three-Test tour in England shortly. Such is the extent of mistrust in the cricket world that the Daily Mirror notes conspiratorially that: “Wisden Cricket Asia is a subsidiary of Wisden International in England.”Even skipper Jayasuriya, a mild-mannered leader uncomfortable with controversy, views the recent comments with cynicism. “It’s an attempt to trigger disturbance for a bowler who has been performing excellently,” he said in Lahore on Wednesday.The Sri Lankan Board are now considering what steps can be taken to protectMuralitharan over coming months, but admit to being exasperated by the factthat the controversy refuses to go despite the bowler being cleared twice bythe ICC following three separate scientific analyses.The first, a sophisticated bio-mechanical study conducted by Darrel Foster from the University of Western Australia in 1996, shortly after Muralitharan had been called by Australian umpire Darryl Hair at Melbourne, identified astructural abnormality that prevents Muralitharan from fully straightening his arm, and concluded that his bent arm did not straighten at the point of delivery.This was followed by three days of research at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, which also gave Muralitharan the green light, after which an ICC panel cleared him for the first time, allowing him to take part in the 1996 World Cup.During Sri Lanka’s next visit to Australia in 1998/99, Muralitharan was called again, this time by Ross Emerson in a one-day international against England at Adelaide. Muralitharan’s action underwent further analysis at the Hugh Williamsom Gait Analysis Laboratory.Following this, an ICC Advisory Panel on Illegal Deliveries with delegates from all Test members deemed his bowling action legal for the second time.Muralitharan is tired of having electronic patches strapped to his elbow andbeing studied like a strange creature in a laboratory. A fourth study isinconceivable and, as their quick reaction to Holding’s comments clearlyshows, the Sri Lankan Board will take a hardline stance should futher allegations be made.

The 29-year-old is currently playing at Euro 2020, impressing in the Tartan Army’s 0-0 draw with England on Friday night as he won two tackles and helped his team to a clean sheet, shacking Raheem Sterling throughout.

The right-back bounced back from a below-par showing against the Czech Republic in Scotland’s opener, showing quality and consistency out wide at Wembley four days later.

The Latest: Derby linked with move

O’Donnell’s form has seemingly caught the eye of a host of clubs, with the Daily Mail claiming that Derby are one of those interested in a move for the defender.

Birmingham City, Blackpool, Blackburn Rovers and Barnsley are all mentioned in the report too as a potential battle to sign the Motherwell man begins to brew.

The Verdict: Shrewd summer addition

O’Donnell could be a solid acquisition for Derby, possessing a wealth of experience (377 club career appearances) and representing his country at a major tournament.

While he might not necessarily be the most flamboyant footballer, he is a safe pair of hands, averaging 1.3 tackles and 1.4 interceptions per game in the Scottish Premiership last season.

O’Donnell’s ability to play at both right-back and right wing-back could also appeal to Wayne Rooney as the Derby manager looks to build a side capable of pushing towards the play-off positions in 2021/22.

A gente quando faz isso não é para eles irem mal, é para irem bem, elevar o nível de disputa. A pior coisa que existe para o técnico é colocar na balança dois jogadores que produzem pouco. Me deixa satisfeito o entendimento que os jogadores têm desse momento, a dedicação. É necessário numa temporada com essa, estabelecer esse nível bem melhor. As primeiras amostragens estão boas. Não vai ser determinante esse ou aquele, mas sim aquele com a qual a equipe vai render melhor. Tem horas que vai ser com um, horas com outro.

Mesmo sem vitória, o Carijó tem uma dupla de zaga sólida, formada por Edimário e Elivelton, com somente um gol sofrido. Para Elivelton, a ausência de Edmário não deverá atrapalhar na partida contra o Cruzeiro:

-No começo do ano, quando cheguei, treinei algumas semanas com o Fernando. Está treinando bem, é um cara que tem capacidade de jogar. Se o Edmário não tiver condições, ele estará bem preparado para fazer um bom jogo. Não tem diferença, nos treinos a gente conversa muito para corrigir os defeitos, então isso não atrapalha.

وأعلن اتحاد الكرة اختيار إيهاب جلال مديرًا فنيًا لمنتخب مصر خلفًا لـ كيروش، بالإضافة إلى توجيه الشكر لـ فينجادا والذي ينتهي عقده خلال شهر مايو المُقبل.

He had Wiseman out lbw for 13.Hopkins brought up 300 for Canterbury with a high hook over deep square leg, which the side registered off 654 balls.Graeme Aldridge brought Hopkins’ innings to an end in the 111th over, just short of his half-century. He attempted to pull a ball that kept low and was given out lbw for 45, which he knocked off 82 balls.On the second ball after drinks, Joseph Yovich wrapped up Canterbury’s innings. He had Ryan Burson caught behind for 26, who stuck around at the crease for over an hour.Canterbury ended up with 338 all out off 117 overs.ND openers Grant Robinson and James Marshall got their side off to a steady start. They had 40 runs on the board by lunch and continued to accumulate their total.Wicket-keeper Hopkins dropped Robinson for 14 in a diving attempt across first slip and then Marshall when he was on 36, which has proved expensive although the latter was a difficult chance.Robinson was rather scratchy in his approach and off-spinner Wiseman eventually got the better of him. He was not worried about having to leave the field so close to scoring his century. “It was a team decision and conditions simply got too dangerous.”He said his aim was to occupy the crease for as long as he could and for the team to surpass the Canterbury total by as much as possible. “We are trying to establish a large target so we don’t have to bat last on this track.”Northern Districts were 161 for one at stumps and trail by 177 runs.

Liverpool are interested in signing young forward Donyell Malen from Eredivisie outfit PSV, according to Fabrizio Romano.

But the Reds face competition from Borussia Dortmund, who may view Malen as a potential replacement for Jadon Sancho.

Sancho is reportedly set to join Manchester United in a £77million deal.

The lowdown on Donyell Malen

Malen, 22, scored 27 goals and provided 10 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions last season.

Only Georgios Giakoumakis and Steven Berguis out-scored him in the Dutch top-flight.

Malen has three years left on his current contract and is valued at £27million by Transfermarkt.

He’s currently on Euro 2020 duty with the Netherlands and set up goals in their group stage victories over Austria and North Macedonia.

Malen would provide Liverpool with additional cover ahead of the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations, which could see Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane miss up to a month of action at the turn of the year.
