After winning their first three Premier League games of the season 1-0 (Sky Sports), Spurs have since embarked on a terrible run of form.

They have been defeated in each of their previous three league outings, conceding three apiece against Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Arsenal.

The Latest: Gray makes Mourinho claim

Speaking on beIN SPORTS, former Sky Sports pundit Gray, 65, believes Mourinho would have already been given his marching orders were his side on the same run of form. He said:

“If Mourinho had been in charge for these six games he wouldn’t be in a job, he wouldn’t be in a job.

“Then to lose 3-0, 3-0 and then 3-1 against Arsenal would have been unacceptable for Tottenham fans with Jose Mourinho in charge.”

The Verdict: Time needed

Gray’s sensationalist comment doesn’t quite ring true. Under Mourinho, Spurs’ worst record was four defeats in a row, shipping ten goals during that period (Transfermarkt). That run came in March 2020 and, while the early stages of the pandemic may have alleviated the pressure on the Portuguese boss, he remained in charge when the 2019/20 season resumed.

There are certainly big problems at Tottenham. However, Nuno cannot be blamed for all of them – it is hardly his fault that star player Harry Kane is out of form after failing to secure a move away from north London during the summer, failing to score a Premier League goal so far this campaign.

Ten matches in all competitions is hardly a long enough period to judge the new boss on and, unless Spurs want to get into a vicious cycle of instability, they must give him time to turn things around.

Reliable reporter Fabrizio Romano has claimed the Manchester United board are still backing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

And a number of Red Devils supporters have been reacting to his post on social media.

United have struggled in recent weeks, losing to Young Boys in the Champions League, West Ham in the Carabao Cup and Aston Villa in the Premier League.

Former Liverpool man Didi Hamann has been the latest to share his prediction regarding the 48-year-old, believing it is only a matter of time until he is gone, but that doesn’t appear to be in the pipeline according to Romano.

Romano shared a link to his ‘Here We Go’ podcast on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon, sharing a number of topics that were discussed. One of which was on the United boss, to which he tweeted ‘Man Utd board still backing Solskjaer’.

أشاد أحمد الكأس لاعب الزمالك السابق بالأداء الذي يقدمه الفريق الأبيض تحت قيادة المدير الفني جوسفالدو فيريرا، واصفًا إياه بالعبقري.

وحقق الزمالك فوزًا كبيرًا على حساب بيراميدز بنتيجة 3-0، في اللقاء الذي جمعهما ضمن منافسات الدوري المصري، ويواصل الأبيض تصدر جدول المسابقة المحلية.

وقال أحمد الكأس في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة “الحياة”: “جوسفالدو فيريرا مدرب عبقري ويعرف جيدًا كيفية الفوز في كل لقاء يخوضه مع الزمالك”.

However, Denly, who top-scored with 68, ensured that England continued to score steadily. It was after his dismissal – caught by Ewen Thompson off Nathan McCullum – that the innings began to unravel. From 138 for 1, England Lions slipped to 148 for 4. They never regained momentum and had to settle for 284 when they looked like scoring more than 300 at one stage.They would have needed a lot more than 300 going by the way New Zealand’s chase turned out. The hosts lost an early wicket – Aaron Redmond for 17 – but Marshall’s 125 off 112 balls was the decisive innings in the match. Flocking to Twitter, many Southampton fans have erupted over a behind-the-scenes managerial claim involving Ralph Hasenhuttl.

The 54-year-old appears to be under mounting pressure amid the Saints’ run of form and overall poor start to the 2021/2022 Premier League season.

Southampton, after losing key players like Danny Ings and Jannik Vestergaard in the summer window, find themselves 17th in the table having won no games so far.

While they have enjoyed some noteworthy results against the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and West Ham – managing to grab a point against each of the European trio – Hasenhuttl’s men could still be flirting with a possible drop to the Championship at the end of this season.

Football Insider and journalist Wayne Veysey have now come out with a behind-the-scenes claim involving Saints’ boss, with Southampton players apparently expecting him to be sacked in the ‘coming weeks’.

Indeed, a ‘dressing room’ source has apparently told the outlet that there is a ‘strong feeling’ among members of the squad that he won’t be in charge at St Mary’s much longer.

Consciente da grave falha, ele deixou o gramado chorando, amparado pelos adversários mais experientes e pessimista sobre seu futuro no Timão. Bobagem.

O tempo passou, Pedro Henrique foi mantido como titular, elevou o nível de atuações e só deixou o time por conta de uma lesão no ano passado. Ele começou 2017 no banco, mas há três jogos voltou ao time por conta da lesão de Pablo e segue na tentativa de se firmar pelo Timão. Nesta quarta-feira, às 21h, mais um desafio: a volta ao Mineirão para outra partida contra o Atlético-MG. Ao menos o status é outro na atualidade, pois ele já soma 37 jogos pelo clube, sendo 21 neste ano (17 como titular).

– O ponto mais forte que tem se tocar sobre esse assunto é que o Pedro é corintiano desde sempre. Foi o clube que deu todas as vitórias pessoais da vida dele. Então, quando aconteceu o lance ele chorou pelo momento, por ser o início dele como profissional, primeiros jogos… A emoção foi pela derrota, mas depois disso todos mostraram a ele que o futebol é isso, se aprende nos erros – explica ao LANCE!, o empresário de Pedro Henrique, Rafael Scheidt.

Reconheceu o nome? Hoje responsável pela carreira da promessa corintiana, Scheidt já defendeu o clube como jogador, entre 2000 e 2002. Aposentado desde 2006, Scheidt conduz a carreira de jogadores como Pedro Henrique, a quem vê como preparado para a responsabilidade de substituir Pablo.

– Se zagueiro não falha, não tem gol no futebol, seria sempre 0 a 0. Ele sabe disso, sabe que vai errar, mas que o importante é continuar focado e corrigir o que errou. E ele é muito empenhado, treina, trabalha para melhorar, busca o melhor. Quando ele estava começando nós conversávamos muito, dávamos uma ajudinha aqui e ali. Mas hoje eu só vejo os jogos e tento analisar com ele o que acertou, o que errou. Mas sempre digo para ele responder ao Carille, que também foi zagueiro e está atualizado no mercado mundial para ajudar na formação dele – relata Scheidt, que vê Pedro Henrique cada vez mais preparado para lidar com as responsabilidades de jogar no Corinthians.

– Ele está se soltando, conquistando seu espaço aos poucos, mostrando quem é. Ele é um cara tranquilo, agora vai ser pai (a esposa Caroline está grávida), é sempre do treino para casa, sempre ligando para a família em Santa Catarina. Ele é um menino de grande caráter e cada vez mais solto. O Corinthians tem um grande atleta na mão.

Scheidt descobriu Pedro Henrique há seis anos, nas categorias de base do Imbituba, em Santa Catarina. O jovem jogador rejeitou ofertas de Grêmio, Flamengo e Internacional para fechar com o Corinthians, onde tem contrato até o fim de 2019. O dono da camisa 34 está no Timão desde os 16 anos,viveu um empréstimo ao Flamengo de Guarulhos e já atua profissionalmente desde 2014. Agora é a hora da consolidação.
